Planned Water Works - Temora - 12 December 2024

Goldenfields Water wishes to advise that on Thursday 12 December 2024, there will be planned water works on Deutcher Street between Joffre Street and Kitchener Road Temora from 6:30am to 3:00pm.

There will not be any through traffic, but residents can come and go under the direction of traffic control. There will be a water outage/low pressure for some customers and the effected residents have been notified in writing.

When water is restored, please check your water quality from the tap nearest to the water meter as discoloured water is likely to be present. Do not wash clothes until you have checked water quality. If discoloured water is detected, run your tap until the water clears. If the water doesn’t clear, notify us immediately on (02) 6977 3200 or after hours on 1800 800 917.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank residents for their patience and cooperation while this essential work is completed.

What you need to do during planned water works

- Store enough water for your needs, keep all taps closed and refrain from flushing toilets during the outage

- When water supply is restored, you may temporarily experience discoloured water.  Check your water quality and run the tap closest to the water meter for a few minutes before drinking or washing laundry. If discoloured water is detected, continue to run your tap until the water clears. If the water doesn’t clear, notify us immediately.
