World Water Day

World Water Day has been held on the 22nd of March every year since 1993, celebrating water and raising awareness of the 2 billion people living without access to safe water.

The UN developed initiative is about taking action to tackle the global water crisis. A core focus of World Water Day is to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030.

The theme for 2025 is 'Glacier Preservation,' focusing on the critical role glaciers play in global water systems and the urgent need to address their rapid decline due to climate change.

To help increase awareness about access to clean water and choosing sustainable options, in conjunction with World Water Day 2025, Goldenfields Water created and supplied the below activity packs for each of the Primary Schools located within our supply network.
